Do fitness models have cheat days?
Pretty much every workout routine and diet has cheat days.
Fitness models don’t seem like they could afford it.
Part of it depends on the cheating. A beer and a bratwurst won’t kill a diet, whereas
a gallon if ice cream might.
So a cheat day may be a mild cheat.
Correct, because it is a matter of scale.
A sliding scale, actually, where the impact is measured in ounces.
Uh, pounds. And percent body fat.
Do fitness models have cheat days for their workouts?
You have to vary the routine so you don’t damage muscle groups. But a cheat day for
weight lifting routines means you could go jogging or swimming instead.
That sounds more like torture than a pleasurable temporary release from a workout routine.
Cheat days could mean spending that day in bed. Or sitting in front of a gaming console
all day.
How often do fitness fanatics have cheat days?
Once a week in terms of a diet should be all you have. Some people take it even further
and limit it to Saturday afternoon or Sunday night.
To pig out at the sports bar with friends.
Or family dinner, or whatever floats their boat. Some guys even allow themselves two
cheat meals throughout the week, instead of a cheat day, to minimize the impact.
Because they work it off the rest of the week.
It’s like blow money in a budget. If you don’t plan for a little, you’ll blow the
budget and go back in debt.
But you’re the one to whom you have to make it up.
Looking in the mirror every day is a better reminder than any debt collector’s phone
calls.
I don’t think you’ve ever dealt with a real collector.
