Today I'll be showing you how to make a beaded window valance. These are the materials we'll
be using. You'll need a piece of wood batting, one and a half inch by a quarter inch the
length of your window. You'll need some ribbon that will cover that batting at the end to
cover up our work. You'll need some tape measures, a stapler. You can use a regular household
stapler or a power stapler. You'll need pencil, scissors, a pair of needle-nosed pliers. You'll
need some nylon fishing line that you can find in the beading stores. You'll need some
little crimp beads to hold the beads on the line, and you'll need an assortment of plastic
beads in whatever colors you want. You're going to use some large pennant and drop beads,
some large and medium and small beads, and I'll be showing you how to select those beads
and how to decide what you want to buy.
