Hi I'm Laura from PeterGlenn.com and i'm wearing the Obermeyer Bianca jacket
and it comes in two different colors
and this jacket is definitely one of Obermeyer's most unique pieces. They really
wanted to make a jacket that looks like a street jacket but also functions as
a ski wear piece.
... so with the Bianca they have given it a longer cut and put a bunch of details on
it. It really crosses the line between regular everyday wear and ski wear
um... That being said they lightened up the insulation a little bit in this jacket so
it's kind of got a mid-weight insulation is warmer through the core so that the
core stays nice and warm and it's a little lighter in the arms.
This does a couple different things ... one if you're wearing this for every day
and you're out there walking around shopping you're doing whatever
... you're gonna produce some heat so don't need a big heavy heavy insulation
because it's gonna over heat you second of all on by lightening up the insulation through
the sleeves they've made it a lot more low-profile therefore it doesn't feel
bulky it's very easy to move in one of the first things you're gonna notice
when you put this jacket on his how incredibly comfortable it is. It's
surprising to know that there's insulation in here because this just
feels like a very low profile very comfortable jacket when I have it on.
It'd definitely be easy to move around and it'll definitely be comfortable over
regular clothes.
obermeyer is a ski company first so despite the fact that they've really gone for a street
loon on this it definately has all the features for skiing
there is a hood that is removable.
The hood is nice
and big
So ot comes up over your head ... one of the things I hate when i'm wearing a
hood is that they only come here
it doesn't protect my face all this one comes up far enough that if they're
falling snow my face is gonna stay dry
This jacket also has a powder skirt on it If riding in deeper you now really dry
snow that's gonna prevent things from coming up inside and has plenty of
pockets so there are
zippered pockets on each side inside.
So two internal zippered pockets then on the outside there it is the zippered waist
pockets, a pocket here at the chest, and also two flap pockets at the chest. There is
plenty of storage for everything you need for skiing.
And there are also
fleece wrist cuffs on this jacket
and these fit closer to your wrist which is nice they'll often go underneath
the gloves and that keeps cold air and snow from getting inside your sleeves.
There's also ventilation on this jacket, it's under the arms
so if you're out there skiing and it gets a little bit hot you can unzip that
to release some extra heat.
The style on this jacket is very cute and Obermeyer did a great job with the color
choices and love that they're doing it in really bright colors so I brought both
to show you... the Aqua is extremely bright as well as the Poppy
color ...
You probably can't see it on video but if you get really close there is a little
herringbone
pattern of the fabric ads like a little texture to it it's very cool
... also they put all these metal details on the jacket these buttosns
that go on the front part aren't actually functional buttons
uh... but they have that appearance.
And this jacket has a shape silhouette so it looks famine and from you know from
behind from the front you can see that it's very feminine ... and it's very cute
very flattering.
The length on this jacket is about 27.5 inches on the
center back , so on me I'm 5'8" that hits me right at the widest part of my
hips good coverage in the back uh... and very very comfortable
Thanks for watching and check out PeterGlenn.com for all your favorite Obermeyer
skiwear.
