I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to show you how to
actually pin in the zipper your panel to get ready to sew it. We have already pressed our
panels flat then you're going to hold up your zipper on the wrong side of the fabric and
you're going to take the little zipper head and actually flip it upwards. You want to
line it up as close as possible to the center seam and then you're going to go pin it in.
For the way I install zippers I really like to pin a lot and make sure that the zipper
is really secured because that way when you take it to the machine it's so much easier
to sew. When you have the initial part lined up you are just going to turn it over and
you see where the teeth are and you are going to match it up to the center seam. Fold it
down a little bit turn it to the right side and then start pinning you want to put a pin
on either side of the zipper teeth so you can hold it in place. Turn it around again
and then turn it around to the front once you have it lined up and you're just going
to do this all the way down to you get to the end of the zipper.
