I’m going to read a view Hadith concerning this matter
First let us look at this curse
The person who drinks in this World
And dies without tevbe (repentance)
Even if he manages to salvages his iman (faith)
Burns in Jahannam (hell) and gets out
And gets into Jannah (heaven)
For eternity, He will never drink the wine of Jannah
Even in Jannah there are some prohibitions
Why?
Because he drank on earth, didn’t repent and
therefore the wine of Jannah is not being granted to him
Jannah… Hodjam, you say
Jannah… where is it and when will I see Jannah…
Right now I’m looking at the bottle in front of me
That is what you would say right now,
But a few days later you will die
After the grave you will be heading
into the direction of Armageddon
and then you are going to realize
that these 60 -70 years you have lived
only seemed like a half a minute
O you brainless world, how empty you were
Now because of you I’m deprived of my life for eternity
O you honorable a lot of us are gone
And only few are left
Most of us are not going to live that long
Let us grind our teeth
And let us be patient
Where will the impatience take us?
Hazrat Ibn Abbas quotes:
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wasallam)
Avoid Alcohol
Because it is the master key to all gunahs (sin)
Ha what do we have here?
I don’t drink as much in order to get drunk
How much do you drink?
2 glasses, that doesn’t take your brain out of your head
With one beer a person doesn’t become drunk
Because of that it shouldn’t be Haram (major sin -legally forbidden by Islamic law)
And then he goes and finds himself a mufti (religious advisior)
Then he says I have found myself a mufti who right up my alley
you know
And he goes on saying… o yes you can throw two back
There are Hodja’s who give such fatwa (Islamic ruling)
As long as you are not drunk, than it will be okay
Whereas Muhammad Mustafa
Sallallahu alayhi wasselam says:
Most of the things, even one drop,
which will make you drunk are Haram (sin)
Drink a pint of beer and see if you find your way home
So then just like wine, one drop of it is haram to you
And now they have Alcohol free beer
They invent and invent
Rasulullah (Sallallahu alayhi wassalam) says:
My ummah (muslim’s large community) will drink,
But it will have it a different names other then wine
They will change the name in many ways
They will call it Rakki
Beer
Jin tonic
What else… nin tonic
They will give it every sort of names
And say that this isn’t wine
It is Haram my friends
ALL OF IT IS HARAM
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said,
"Whoever drinks alcoholic drinks in the world
and does not repent (before dying), will be
deprived of it in the Hereafter."
Abdullah ibn Umar reports that the Prophet
said, "Whosoever drinks wine, Allah will not accept
his prayer for 40 days. If he seeks repentance Allah will
forgive him. And if he repeats it Allah will not accept his
prayer for 40 days. If he seeks repentance Allah will
forgive him. And if he repeats it again Allah will not accept
his prayer for 40 days. If he seeks repentance Allah will forgive him.
If he repeats it for the fourth time Allah will not accept
his prayer for 40 days. If he seeks repentance Allah will not
accept it and he will be made to drink from the river of
impurities (of the inmates of hell).
Jabir narrated that the Messenger of Allah said;
"Whatever intoxicates in a greater quantity is also unlawful in
its smaller quantity." (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood and Ibn Majah)
its smaller quantity." (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood and Ibn Majah)
