Overgrowth's gameplay can best be described in three words.
Ninja, rabbit, combat.
As the spiritual sequel to the first ninja rabbit fighting game, Lugaru, shown here.
Overgrowth will be inheriting a streamlined fighting system driven by procedural animations
and ragdoll physics.
This is our first prototype of Overgrowth gameplay.
However, it became clear to us very early on, that if we wanted to make Overgrowth the
ambitious project we all hoped it would be, we'd need to create a set of comprehensive
tools to improve our workflow.
Would you like to see our editor tools, Mr. Rabbit?
Well that's too bad!
Because here comes the sweet editor suite!
And we decided that instead of holding on to these tools for ourselves we might as well
share them with everyone who buys the game.
Therefore Overgrowth will be both a ninja rabbit fighting game, and a sandbox for modders.
