The Ray Myer is a great resource that we have;
it's the DePaul Gym.
There are four different levels -- the first level are racquetball courts,
a cafe as well as an Olympic swimming pool.
The second floor has all our exercise rooms we do a lot of exercise classes: kickboxing
yoga and things like that.
Then if you got up the third floor there are four basketball court and then above that
there is a track that goes around the top for students to run.
One of the cool things about the track is that there are glass windows all over
southeast side and that presents huge view of the skyline
which is cool to run to especially at night on it's a great view of the city.
They also have a lot of unique things; they offer a lot a free classes to students
you can take a free yoga class, or crunch class.
really nice it's so close, it's right in the center of campus.
I always go to spin class on Thursdays my instructor he turns off the lights
and blasts techno!
It clears your mind you know why you're working out not really thinking about
anything else
except for working out
And the Ray Meyer is a site for all those intramural sports
so you know if you he really couldn't make it you know playing NCAA football you can
play intramural football or basketball
It is open so early and so late it really offers you an ability to step away from
school work for an hour to
blow off some steam or get a quick workout and kinda
remove yourself from the stress from school.
people dread about that freshman 15 that they always get you know
it it's a good tool to have.
