-Hey, guys, what's up?
Welcome back to the channel.
Today we have the Eye-Fi four-gigabyte Wi-Fi edition
card.
This card basically is a four-gigabyte SD card
that will automatically upload to your favorite site,
like Flickr, YouTube, whatever it may be, Picasa.
It will upload to your computer.
You don't have to do the upload, but that's
kind of the main point of this card.
I kind of wanted to take a look at it, dive into it,
see what the packaging looks like.
And then we'll go into a full review, which
you can check out at protechguy.com.
And this here will just be primarily the unboxing.
So what we have here is nice green and orange packaging.
It's kind of like you can feel the camera on it.
And so it's kind of like 3D packaging,
or whatever you want to call it.
So wireless uploads, of course you
have to be connected to a wireless network, which
you configure with the card.
So your home network, let's say it's called Network One.
You would configure that in the card
with your WPA or WEP key, whatever you have.
You configure that within the card
and you connect to that network automatically.
So you don't have to plug in your camera every time.
It automatically uploads, and you
can put it in an actual endless card mode.
So you essentially have a lot of storage on there,
unlimited in theory.
So yeah, basically you put that in there.
Let's check out the back here.
We're pretty much just the features,
and it shows you Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, and YouTube
logos on there, just basic things
that I've pretty much already explained.
So yeah, let's break the seal here.
Let's see what's inside.
Something's catching there.
All right, so we have just the card here itself.
Little thing that shows you to plug it in.
So got a little booklet here.
And that's going to show you how everything-- how to set it up.
Very small.
Nice little packaging here.
Then we have the actual-- let's see, this one, I guess,
is the-- yeah, that's just the sticker.
That's not even the actual card.
So we have the actual card here.
That's your SD card with the Wi-Fi built into it,
and a USB adapter so you can plug it
into a computer that might not have a USB adapter.
So that is pretty much it for the unboxing of this.
It's definitely a cool card.
I personally have never used one,
but we will definitely give this a full review
and hopefully get into a little better
and see how it actually works.
I'm expecting it's going to perform well.
This company's been around for a little while.
I've always wanted one.
Finally got one on woot.com.
Check them out.
Definitely a good site to get things on a daily deal basis.
I saw this, grabbed it for about $20.
Regularly about $40 at retail, and you can get them on Amazon.
I'll throw a link below where you guys can grab one
if you need one.
And that should be it.
Again, check protechguy.com for the full review.
And see you guys next video.
Thanks.
