Hi guys I'm back and you know what that means. That means there must be another holiday on its way
and there certainly is
We have easter coming up this weekend so i have swapped my rain dear antlers for bunny ears
Today what i want to show you how to make is some
easter bark. Now we did a bark at christmas with Todd but this one is a
bit different
more easter
So lets go do it
Now for this recipe what we need it
a packet of white chocolate melts
now we are going for the melts because they do melt easier
in the microwave rather then a whole block of chocolate
We are going to use some popping candy
any flavor is fine
and some jelly beans. Now i have gone for the jelly belly jelly beans because their smaller and
they taste much better
So to start with pop the chocolate in the microwave for
twenty second internals
stir it after each twenty seconds until it's fully melted
so here we have our
melted chocolate
Don't over melt it
white chocolate is
real easy to burn
So what i have here is a baking tray lined with baking paper
If you don't line it
you'll find it very hard to get the chocolate out
So this is just baking paper or parchment paper
Now just pour the
chocolate in
Then spread it around
and make it nice and even
doesn't have to be a
completely smooth surface
just make sure the chocolate is even
don't worry about the waves on top
that just actually adds to the look of it
next grab your jelly beans
Now i have removed the black ones because i don't like the black ones
i don't like the aniseed flavour
Just sprinkle them on top
push them in a little bit
so you know their not going to move
their not going to fall of
when you break it up
right now for the popping candy
and what we are going with this is
just sprinkle it on
like you would
with sprinkles
okay there we go
now place that into the fridge
for about
twenty
thirty minutes and see how we go
So that's been in the fridge for about thirty minutes
it might need a little more
depending on you fridge
but when its hard thats when you know
now we just want to break it into bits
again
it doesn't have to be
there we go
Depending on if you want big bits or little bits
just break it up
and then what im going to do with it
you can do all sorts of things with it, you can put it into wrapping
wrap it up with some easter wrapping
What im going to do with this is I'm going to give it to
my nephew to give out to his class mates.
And there you have it, this is my version of easter bark
taste delicious
i love popping candy
the way it feels in your mouth
I hope you enjoy this very simple and easy easter treat. Please give the video a big thumbs up
