At Esslinger.com we know that watch performance can slow over time.
With the TYMC Timegrapher you can test the performance of mechanical watches with ease.
The MTG-1000 tests the performance of the various timing mechanics in a watch.
It has a large and easy to read LCD screen to show you the amplitude, the beat noise,
the watch rate in seconds per day-either fast or slow, and the beat error in milli-seconds.
This watch timer tester automatically identifies the ideal beat rate of the watch you are testing,
or you can set it to test for a particular beat rate. With this tester, you can test
watches with beat rates from eighteen thousand to 36 thousand beats per minute.
To get the most accurate amplitude measurement possible, you can manually set the lift angle.
If you don't know what the lift angle should be, the tester is pre-set to a value of 52
degrees.
Most watchmakers know that each watch will operate differently at different positions.
The TYMC tester's standard microphone reader can rotate to 6 different positions to give
you the most complete information on your watch.
While using the MTG-1000, you can turn the built in speaker on to allow you to hear the
beat noise of the watch, or off as you so desire.
