The CDC has quite a few activities in the area of colorectal cancer, we have what we
call the Colorectal Cancer Control Program, which is in 25 states in four tribes or tribal
organizations and that program uses some of its money to provide colorectal cancer screening
tests for who are uninsured or they don't have any insurance or who otherwise can't
afford pay for screening. Then, we also do activities where we partner with a ___________[0:39]
and doctors and insurers to try to implement systems that make it easier for people that
get screened, then we also have a mass media campaign that we call Save A Life. If you
have ever been on a bus or in the airport, you may have seen some of those advertisements
that encouraged people to get screened for colorectal cancer and we have a variety of
research activities that look into what are good interventions that will help people get
screened, so the people have insurance and have doctors, but they don't get screened.
So, what can we do to help people to get screened?
