>> Hi and welcome to a new video from the 30 days of Christmas serie
where I'm going to share with you a new post or video each day
until the 24th of December.
Today I will show you how to create this two-coloured d.i.y. wreath.
For this project we will need:
some hot glue,
scissors,
a styrofoam base,
some red and white wool,
an artificial flower,
a felt decoration,
some artificial leaves
and some ribbon.
First of all we need to cover the styrofoam base with the wool
so let's stick one end of the wool string with hot glue
and let's start wrapping the string around the base like this
adding some hot glue dots here and there to keep it in place.
After we covered a good portion
let's add some hot glue
to stick the white wool string end.
Now let's repeat the same procedure with red wool
then again with the white one
until we will evenly covered the whole styrofoam base
like this.
Once we reached the end let's stick the wool string with hot glue
to keep it in place.
In order to easily hang our wreath
we need to create a hook
so let's use a satin string like this
and let's double tie it around the base
like this
creating an opening on top.
To hide the satin string on the back
let's glue on top a bit of white wool
like this.
It's time to decorate the wreath
First of all let's glue the artificial flower on the leaves
using the hot glue to create an even and cute composition.
Then, always using the hot glue
let's adhere the flower on the bottom of the wreath.
Let's hide the satin string on the front
by glueing a bit of wool on top with hot glue, like this.
As last touch let's glue the felt decoration
and here is our two-coloured wreath finished!
