FRIENDS AND TRANSFORMED INTO
QUITE THE BUSINESS.
WE STARTED THIS PROJECT
MAINLY TO PUT PEOPLE TO WORK.
WE DISCOVERED IS THAT THIS IS
JUST AN INCREDIBLY EFFICIENT AND
PEOPLE'S LIVES.
FOR KEITH WEB TURNED A HOBBY
INTO A CAREER.
I FELT LIKE, YOU KNOW, THIS
EVERYBODY LOVED IT.
WE HAD A GOOD RECIPE.
THE PROVIDENCE GRANOLA
PROJECT HAS MANY DIFFERENT
FLAVORS, LIKE ORIGINAL, GINGER,
ROSE MARY AND MORE.
EACH IS CLOCK FULL OF NUTS, AND
DRY FRUIT.
IT'S MORE THAN THE FOOD.
OUR REAL MISSION, THE THING
WE LOVE ABOUT THIS IS WE'RE
TRYING TO PROVIDE JOB SKILLS FOR
NEWLY ARRIVED INTERNATIONAL
REFUGEES.
THIS IS HELPING PEOPLE FEEL LIKE
THEY'RE AT HOME IN RHODE ISLAND.
THIS IS DEVELOPING CONFIDENCE.
I'VE SEEN ENGLISH SKILLS START
TO IMPROVE.
MAKE IT HERSELF.

INGREDIENTS IN IT, HOW I MAKE

GREAT WORK ENVIRONMENT.

ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN
ENTRIES, MEANS OUR ENTRIES, WE
HAD 60 THIS YEAR.

THERE ARE RESIDENTIAL, NEW
CONSTRUCTION, RESIDENTIAL
SPACES.
IT'S REALLY FUN.
IT'S REALLY INTERESTING.

THIS YEAR, THEY CAME FROM
BOSTON.
WE HAD TWO ARCHITECTS AND ONE
DESIGNER AND THEIR VERY
OPINIONATED ABOUT WHAT THEY SEE.
THERE'S SO MUCH TALENT IN THE
STATE.
WE'VE BEEN DOING THIS, I THINK
IT MIGHT BE THE 19th YEAR.
EVERY YEAR, IT'S NEW, IT'S FRESH
EXCITING.
IF THEY HAVE GOT A PROJECT AT
FOR, THERE'S SOMETHING THEY WANT
TO DO WITH A KITCHEN OR
INTERESTING, FUN IDEAS.

ALSO A NICE TIME TO GO.
THE RATES DROP.
THERE'S A PLACE CALLED THE WHITE
ELEPHANT, WHICH IS ONE OF THE
GRAND DAMES OF NANTUCKETT.
IT HAS A SPA, AN INDOOR POOL.
IT HAS GREAT FOOD.
IT'S OPEN WEEKENDS THROUGH
NOVEMBER AND ALSO FOR THE
THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY AND THE
CHRISTMAS STORE IS OPEN.
YOU CAN DO A LITTLE CHRISTMAS
SHOPPING AND HAVE A LITTLE GET
AWAY AT THE SAME TIME.
FOR FOOD LOVERS OUT THERE,
THEY'RE PROBABLY WATCHING THE
HUNGRY.
THERE'S THE BLUEBERRY HILL
FOR ITS FOOD.
THE OWNER IS THE SON OF A WINE
MAKER, AND A CHEF, SO HE HAS
LOTS OF INSPIRATION.
THE DISHES ON THE MENU ARE
LOCALLY SOURCED.
THE CHEESE FROM VERMONT, AND
PRODUCE FROM THE LOCAL GARDEN IN
ATTRACTION.
YEAH.
AND VERMONT NOT TOO FAR AWAY, SO
DEFINITELY A GOOD LITTLE ROAD
TRIP.
FAR ALL THE OUTDOOR LOVERS,
BECAUSE IT'S STILL MILD ENOUGH
TO SPEND TIME OUTSIDE.
THERE'S A FASCINATING PLACE
CALLED THE MAKE-LAKE
LODGE.
IT'S GOT ALL THE AMENITIES.

COUNTRY SKIING.
