Hi, my name is Doctor Kim Makoi, I'm a holistic chiropractor from San Francisco, California,
and this is how to understand a liver and gallbladder flush. Your liver and your gallbladder
are involved with helping you break down fats, the liver is also sort of like your oil filter
in your body, it helps you to - all of your blood as to pass through the liver, it's located
on the righthand side here, under the lower ribs, and it's full of lots of tiny little
ducts, so like with any system of tubes, those tubes are vulnerable to getting plugged or
getting a little bit dirty so basically the liver and gallbladder flushes are designed
to help kind of flush that ductwork, so that the bile, the fluids can flow more smoothly
and so that your liver can function at a more efficient rate. So there's a lot controversy
about what it is that actually is getting flushed out, what it's made of, are these
things really helpful and in my clinical experience I found that they do help people to feel better
when people are having symptoms that are caused from sluggish liver function or from the tubes
getting backed up somehow. And that's how to understand a liver and gallbladder flush.
