and the easy answer is discounting price does not help you do that
you don't need a sales person to close a deal by discounting
a website a brochure a price you can't do that without a professional salesperson
if your professional sales company and you have excellent salespeople
price has nothing to do with it declining price
only create a relationship with your company based on
declining price and declining price
necessitate you reduce services over time if you're always discounting your
way to
more deals then you're going to have to start cutting back what you provide
the customer your margins get thinner eventually will be able to give your
customers
good service as they are used to at some point
that service won’t be good enough for the client anymore and they're gonna go
somewhere else
the alternative is to constantly increasing your service and product
and then price it accordingly if your customers always getting more
at least at the same price they're always going to be happy
with the dealing with you help the customer more not
cut what you're going to be able to give them lowering prices says you don't care
about helping them or because you have to take something away from them
good example is Apple's iPhone every year the iPhone always cost more money
it always goes up in price because you're getting more features on that
phone
they don't discount their way to selling more iPhones they do it by giving more
and the price goes up so closing deals has nothing to do with discounting
if it was just discounting you don't need a salesperson he'd only the sales
department
