In response to the video I did congratulating the 200,000th FB fan, we asked for questions
and we got over 200. What I would like to do is thank all of you for sending in the
questions and I would like to start by thanking, in particular, Dragoslav, who asked "Why is
it so difficult for Serbians to get U.S. visas?" I am answering this one because a lot of other
people also asked the question.
I do not think it's that difficult, I think there is perhaps a bit of a myth - 85% of
the people who apply for a visa get them. One of the other reasons that people get turned
down is that the U.S. is a country of immigrants. So, you start with assumption -- or we do! --
that you are going to come to the United States and stay. And you have to show that,
no, you are just coming and visiting and you're going to come back to Serbia. But, the perception
is that it is hard, because you hear a lot more from people who don't get visa than you
hear from people who do.
