Hi. My name's Jonathan Wright. I'm the founder of MDCheck.com.
And I kind of want to walk you through how you can use our site to do background checks on your doctor.
It's really easy; it's really simple. Some of it's free; some of it's paid. It's comprehensive. It's fun to use.
And it will save you a lot of hassle and heartache and grief if you go to a doctor that's terrible.
So, let me kind of walk you through it.
So, the first thing we offer is a basic license search, and that's free.
And you can either get there by clicking on the search bar at the top here, or you can click on License Search.
And what you do is you basically enter your doctor's first name in, and then you enter your doctor's last name.
And the city that your doctor's in. And the state.
You can do more general searches.
If you don't know where they are, you can just do a name search and it will pull up all the doctors under the same name.
But I'm just trying to show you, for easy use right now.
You get the search results and it'll look and make sure that your doctor's got a; there's two instances of a license for this doctor.
And so you want to view the details of the doctor.
Click on View Details. And you'll get the doctor's details and it'll tell you what their activity is.
They're licensed as a practitioner, they've practiced at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Their license is set to expire in the next five months. It's currently paid up to date.
And at the bottom here it shows you what their license permits them to do with respect to controlled substances.
This information is basically DEA license data.
So, let's go back to home.
Actually, so, say you find this information out; say, for example, that you find out that the doctor you're going to,
his license is expired. And you're, like, "Wow. That's kind of strange. Why would I go to a doctor with an expired license?"
So at that point you probably want to do a full background check.
Also, you know, even if the license is paid and valid, you probably still want to do a full background check.
I mean, you know, it's your life in their hands. And it makes a lot a sense to do a background check.
It's simple. It's easy. It's relatively cheap. So you click on Background Check and that'll take you to my partner's website.
And they have 40 years of public records data, billions and billions of records, and you'll be able
to quickly and easily search through their records.
And the way their records work is, essentially, you get a; it's about $19, I think, per background check.
But if you sign up for the $30 plan a month and, say, you're trying to find a bunch of;
you're trying to find a doctor and you've got a list of doctors you want to compare, you can do background checks on all of them
with their monthly subscription plan. And I think that's $30; $39, something like that, for unlimited searches you can do.
It's comprehensive background checks. And what you find on the background checks
is basically you'll be able to instantly search through million of public records
and you'll be able to uncover precise details on anyone in the United States.
And you'll find things like their name, age, address history, date of birth, property ownership,
aliases, phone numbers, criminal history, lawsuits, business ownership and the like.
So, that's the second way of doing a background check on a doctor on MDCheck.com.
And the third way is you can; I've got a list of all the states' licensed medical boards here
and so if you want to look up a doctor on each state's licensing board
to make sure they're licensed in your state appropriately, you can click on the state list here.
Like, just click on Alabama and there's a screenshot of where it will take you.
And if you want to go and search (say your doctor's in Alabama), you click on the link to the license search for the website
and it takes you there and you enter the doctor's name and you find out whether they're licensed in the state.
So, that's kind of how you use the website.
I hope you find it fun and interesting and helpful and it saves you some heartache and grief.
Thanks.
