We've just gotten done rinsing out the clarifying shampoo and we're getting ready to use another
shampoo that's very moisturizing. Moisture is extremely important when it comes to these
semi-permanent styles. As before, like I said, don't be afraid to be extremely liberal with
the amounts. Now as you go into the scalp and the hair, like I said, the hair is what
gets you lather. When you see a good lather like this, that lets you know the hair is
pretty close to clean. So this is the only other shampoo we'll need to do. Scrub at the
scalp a little bit. Keep stimulating the scalp throughout the whole entire process to make
sure that it's ready to accept the braids. This shampoo smells good. The lather just
keeps building and building. I don't need to add any more shampoo and that's just another
sign that the hair is clean and will be ready to condition right after we rinse this out.
