Pivert, a character with a lively character and quite traditional ideas preparing to marry
his daughter Antoinette son of a general, returns from the weekend. But this Friday
night, when he returned to the capital with his driver Solomon, he is shocked to discover
he is Jewish, he suffered off the road. Left alone after firing an employee who refused
to work on the Sabbath, Victor Pivert goes for help and ends up in a plant gum.
He attends unexpectedly to a settlement of accounts between members of the state police
of an Arab country (unnamed) and a political dissident, Mohammed Larbi Slimane, those that
Pivert became his "hostage" and finds himself in addition both wanted by the French police,
whose investigation was entrusted to the Commissioner Andreani, by the secret police of the Arab
countries led by the sinister Fares. Slimane must return to his country to lead
the revolution imperative. Both men find themselves at Orly but Fares and his minions find the
airport. While Rabbi Jacob and Samuel just landed in New York, Pivert and Slimane steal
clothes two other Hasidic rabbis, Woodpecker also donning a false beard, to escape their
pursuers. In the lobby of the airport, then they are confused with the revered rabbi and
his assistant, the Schmoll family came looking for them. They maintain the mistake and are
