This is Trevonte Brown, a 19-year-old Seattle resident accused of committing several armed
robberies on public busses in Seattle, back in November.
Trevonte’s MO is to walk up the aisle while everyone’s diddling with their phones.
He robs people of their phones, and nobody else usually notices.
Police saw him selling phones to an automated kiosk in November and warned his mom.
But when she searched him, she didn’t find any weapons.
So Trevonte went back to robbing buses.
But on November 25th, he picked the wrong mark.
The guy instantly attacked Trevonte, and fellow passengers jumped into the scrum when they
realized what was happening.
Trevonte’s mom told Seattle news station KIRO 7 that she’s glad her son was stopped
before anything worse happened.
