and in this video we're going to show you how to obtain your Florida real estate license.
The following are the requirements for getting your license:
You have to be at least 18 years old You have to hold a high school diploma or
its equivalent, You need a social security number,
And if you're getting your broker license, you have to have held an active real estate
license for at least 2 out of the previous 5 years.
Florida residency is not required The first step you need to take to get your
license is Registering for class.
Go to www.LarsonEd.com And click on the header "Real Estate Courses"
in the red. Then click on the blue "Pre-Licensing and
Exam Prep" link on the left Click on pre-licensing courses where you can
see our schedules for both the 63 hour sales associate pre-license courses
and the 72 hour broker pre-license courses. We offer classes online and have weekday,
weekend, and evening schedules in Fort Myers and Naples.
Before attending class, Submit a license application and register for electronic fingerprinting
which you can do at www.LarsonEd.com just clock on "Real Estate Courses" again
in the red on our homepage then go to the "Pre-Licensing and Exam Prep"
link then click on the blue "How to Obtain a License"
box. Under the "State Application"header, you'll
see links to submit a license application and register for electronic fingerprinting.
Next you'll come in and enjoy classes taught by our dynamic instructors.
After you get the required number of classroom hours,
63 for sales associates 72 for brokers
you'll register to take the state exam. To register for the state exam, go back to
the Larson Ed website and click on "Real Estate Courses" in the red once again
then click on the "Pre-Licensing and Exam Prep" link and go to "How to Obtain a License"
in there, under the "Pass the State License Exam" header
you can click on the link to register for the state exam.
We recommend testing within 10 days of completing the course.
After you pass the exam, you will need to activate your license with a broker.
