Importing photos from a digital camera
It's easy and fast import your photos
from your digital camera in iPhoto
so you can start sharing your favourite pictures.
To get it started
plug USB cord in your camera
and the other end in your Mac.
Turn your camera on and iPhoto should automatically open
if it doesn't simply click on the iPhoto icon in the doc to launch it.
Your camera appears in the source list.
In the import window
you can type the event name and description for your photos.
Next select the pictures that you want to import.
You can drag to select photos,
or hold down the command key and click the ones you want.
Use the check boxes
to group your photos in separate events
based on the date they were taken
or hide photos you have already imported
so you see only the new ones.
You can import all the photos that are in the camera
or only the ones you've selected by clicking here.
When importing is finish
iPhoto ask if you want delete the photos from your camera.
Once your photos have been imported
you can start editing, printing,
creating beautiful books
and sharing them with friends and family.
