Hey everyone! How’s it going?
I just wanted to tell you about this week, about the different stuff that
you can actually do at Kingston University, if you know what to look out for.
Just to give an example, apart from all the societies that give you just,
for example free sky diving, sorry not free sky diving,
but sky diving, there’s also like courses
or cheaper versions which you can access which usually cost you quite a lot of money.
So for example one of my friends, just recently made her motorboat licence,
for £75 I think, if I’m not mistaken. I’m right now participating in a
free Microsoft course about Web surveyor design. And those opportunities, they come sometimes
along but they sneak past you and you don’t really know when they’re happening
until it’s too late so it’s always good to
keep an eye open! It’s always good to ask
friends and also to make social contacts because both this motorboat licence for
my friend as well as the Microsoft computer course opportunity - we just both got
the recommendation or the suggestion by one of our other colleagues and friends
and this is just another example of how networking in Kingston University
can be extremely helpful. Alright, that’s for me now,
until next time, ciao!
