Hey there, what's going on? So, maybe your in the market for
an iPod dock, but you want it to be small,
and maybe you'd like to be able to travel around with it,
maybe you just don't have a whole lot of room next to your
on that messy end table of yours. Right?
There's not a whole lot of real estate left, but you'd like to have an alarm clock/radio
that interfaces with your iPod, and also keeps it charged for you
and keeps it ready to go for the next day.
Well, iHome has got your back on that one.
It's the IH4. This little pedestal that holds,
charges your iPod, plays your music,
and acts as an alarm clock for you.
It has night lights built in too. So, if you're like me,
and you're a little scared when the lights go out,
this will actually keep you company, and of course they can be dimmed
and turned off so you don't have to worry about them keeping you awake
if you're not scared of the dark like myself.
It does have an auxiliary input, so you can really use this with any MP3 player,
not just the iPod, but the option is available to you
because it does have the jack. I'll show you that in just a moment.
Speakers located right up here, it does have the iHome Reson8 speakers
in here, which give you a sound that's quite a bit larger
than what you'd expect from such a very very small speaker.
And I'm not sure if I can convey this, but it does have bass boosting,
and when you turn it off you can hear the bass almost disappear.
But I'm not sure if that really comes across over the internet.
But it does have bass boost technology, expanded bass built into it as well.
When you turn the off button, when you shut this thing down,
it continues to charge your iPod and the second you want to listen
to your music you simply push the iPod button, which is right up here on the top,
simply push this button right here, and it fires up your iPod,
and starts playing your music.
You navigate your iPod as you normally would, with the scroll wheel.
It does have your dock located right here. Off and iPod buttons located at the top.
Very simple operation. Down here in the front is where
your time and status are.
This is the battery indicator for the battery backup for your alarm,
so you want to make sure you have a battery in there.
And then, the only other things you have to worry about are
buttons for setting your alarm and time right over here.
And on the back is where you're going to find your power,
your line-in port for any other MP3 player you would like to connect to this,
and of course the ability to turn that bass expanding stuff on and off right there.
So, we've got a small little pedestal that's going to be great anywhere.
I got a friend that has iPod docks all over his house,
he's got one in his room, couple in his living room,
literally anytime anywhere he can drop an iPod into something
and start playing music.
This might be a good start to a setup like that.
It's the iHome IH4 Alarm Clock Radio for your iPod.
