Welcome to Ahmet's kitchen, today we will be making baklava from my home town, Gaziantep
Ingredients:
Puff pastry 480 grams
Walnut 300 grams
Pistachios
as much as you like
let's open this up first
you can buy these at a Turkish supermarket

this is 250 grams of butter
Surup, 1 liter of water, 700 grams of sugar
Boil for 30 minutes
then put in a spoonful of lemon
let's start with the dough

if you don't have pistachios, you can use other nuts
I just prefer them, it's their season

we put this inside, as good as possible
Now lets start with cutting

we put the rest of the butter on top
don't put in the milk of the butter!
we throw that away
we can let it rest for 10 minutes
and then, in the oven at 180 degrees, 25-30 minutes until the top is brown
Baklava is now ready
put surup on top
done
