Jen: Ms Jen McLean, Information Skills Adviser, LLR:
Hi, Iím Jen, and this is your quick guide to printing at the Learning Resource Centre
and the Perry Library. To begin, you will need to have credit on
your account. You can top up online, or at one of the print credit machines.
When you want to print your document in black and white, choose STUDENT MONO PRINT ON ZUHAL
from the print queue options. If you want to print your document in colour,
choose STUDENT COLOUR PRINT ON ZUHAL.
Go to the printer and touch your card on the touch-card symbol on the printer. The first
time you do this you will also be asked to type in your username and password. You will
only have to do this once. Once youíve logged onto the printer, press
ëPrintí on the screen. Your print jobs will then appear in a list on the screen. Highlight
the one you want to print by pressing it on the screen.
Then press the go or blue button to start the printing. There is also an option to delete
the print jobs on screen too, if you donít want to print them.
Once you are finished, press OK to close the on-screen window, and then press the LOGOUT
button, so no one else can access your account. Remember: you can collect your print job from
any printer in the LRC or Perry Library. If you need assistance, donít hesitate to
ask a member of staff for help, or consult the IT Support pages on MyLSBU. See you next
time!
