What's up? I'm Tony Scott with news you may have missed. Hip Hop DJ Mister Cee was busted
Friday night trying to pick up a male ***. Cee says he didn't know the *** was cop.
This ain't the first time y'all. Two years ago he pled guilty to loitering for the purpose
of engaging in prostitution after he was arrested for receiving from another man in a parked
car. Mister Cee was Big Daddy Kane's DJ and produced Biggie's album "Ready to Die. He's
also a DJ/Mixer on HOT 97 in New York City, Two years ago when he was busted for being
caught in a car with a man that I just told you about, his radio competition went in hard
on Mister Cee (NO PUN INTENDED). It'll be intresting to hear what happens Monday Morning
on Power 105.1 in New York. Listen on I Heart Radio and I'll link you Power 105.1 down below.
Mountain Dew had a bad week. First they pulled Tyler the Creator's TV spot for the Dew. The
spot featured several Black men in a police lineup along with Felicia the Goat. I'll link
you to it below and you decide if it was racist, sexist, offensive or none of the above. Tyler
the Creator recently responded to the controversy, "I guess people are claiming that it's racist,
which... you know, that wasn't even portrayed in that commercial, there's no type of hate
being portrayed in that work of art at all — which I'm confused by. But this older
Black dude, Dr. Boyce Watkins, I guess he found it racist because I was portraying stereotypes,
which is ridiculous because, one, all of those dudes [in the line-up] are my friends..."
(SMH).
Mountain Dew made another move, letting Lil' Wayne go as a major spokesperson. The controversy
started in February over the song, "Karate Chop," in which Wayne pit this gem, "beat
that ***** like Emmet Till." Wayne had sent a letter to Emmet Till's family -- saying
he's sorry their feelings were hurt by the song ... but the family REJECTED the letter,
saying the statement "falls short of an apology." The family of Emmett Till wants a meeting
with Lil Wayne and PepsiCo. He can issue a formal apology but he'll never understand
what he did.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
This dude. Donald Bernard McGee Jr., of Florida courted a woman with text messages and they
agreed to a date. A walk through the park and to Wendy's. For a number two hold the
onions? NO! They went to wait for Donald's brother to pick him up. OR SO SHE THOUGHT.
He pulled a gun and car-jacked her. HE CAR-JACKED HIS DATE! He's facing car-jacking with a fire
arm, marijuana possession, fleeing police, driving without a valid license, robbery with
a fire arm and FELONY STUPIDNESS. Uhh, young lady that was his date and all young ladies,
let me tell you a couple of things. One, a first date should always be LUNCH. In the
daytime. Two, NEVER agree to a date based on text messages. Three, this is important.
Don't go on a date with someone that doesn't have his own car. He ain't ready for dating.
Unless he's 16. But even then you have no business in a park at night with him. And
to the local police, how is his bond only $15,000? That's it all I got, Thanks for watching.
Can I ask for a thumbs up? Subscribing keeps me motivated. He's some other videos for you
to check out. Thanks again for watching, I'm Tony Scott.
