In this tutorial
we will be learning
how to use memory wire.
Memory wire is a fantastic product,
ideal for a variety of reasons;
Most importantly
you do not need any findings
to end off a memory wire bracelet;
so no clasps,
no links,
no ends,
nothing
Second of all,
the memory wire bracelet
really lends itself well
to a casual and ecclectic design.
This means that it is great
for using up any loose beads
you have lying around.
First of all,
you need to decide
how many coils
you wish to use.
Generally, people tend to use
about three coils,
but its up to you.
You can use up to twelve coils
to create an amazing effect.
Once you have decided
how many coils you will use,
simply cut it off
using either memory wire cutters
or chain cutters.
Then, with your round nose pliers
grasp the memory wire
at the very end
and twist it round
to make a loop.
You have to be quite firm with this
as the memory wire is quite rigid and strong.
After you have done the end loop,
you can start to thread your beads on,
in a random pattern.
Once you have threaded all of your beads
around the wire,
simply repeat the same process as the other side
by taking your round nose pliers
and forming a loop.
And there you have it!
Simply wrap the bracelet around your wrist,
and you have
your fun,
playful,
multicoloured memory wire bracelet with beads!
