It's time to break it down for hooded eyes. We've created these custom looks for each
shape to show you how to get the most of your gorgeous eyes with our new amazing
full exposure palette. There's a look for day, one for night and
a defined look for each shape. for today I'm going to show you
how to create a night look, which is really the most dramatic of all three looks.
Hooded eyes are so sultry and smoldering already, all you really need to do to play them up
is just enhance the visible lid space. So, that's what I'm going to walk you through
right now. I've already prepped my model with 24 hour
photo finish shadow primer. This is the latest new lid primer and it's amazing. Be sure to
keep an eye out for it. It really does lock on color for a full 24
hours. First, to give the eyes more prominence, apply a light shade to the brow bone and inner
corner. Really you can use any light shade but for
this particular look I'm using M4. This bit of subtle highlighting goes a long way for
your shape. The light shade really brightens and opens
up your eyes even more. Apply a medium shade across the lid blending upward and above the
crease. I'm using M2. YOu wanna stick to a medium shade for hooded
eyes when applying across the entire lid, because using a dark shadow could make your
lid seem a bit too heavy. And this is all about making the most of your
sultry stunning shape. Finally, line the upper lash line with the dark matte shade diffusing
upwards at the outer corner for added definition. I'm going to use M1 for
this. Blending upward is key here. This will actually blend your eyes up and make them
appear even more open, which creates the illusion of having big bright eyes.
Finish the eyes with two coats of full exposure mascara. Don't forget to give a little love
to those outer lashes. This will really open up your shape for a perfect wide eyed look.
Finish the look with a bit of halo long wear blush in warm glow and a swipe of Be Legendary
lipstick in Primrose. This look is all about enhancing the eye shape so you really want
to keep your lips and your cheeks more neutral. So you've got this gorgeous look that you
can wear anywhere, but maybe sometimes you want to mix things up a bit. Enter always
sharp liners. It's so easy to change up a look with just a little liner.
I showed you a really awesome just everyday look, now we're gonna take it to the next
level. We're going to do more of. I think it's a little more edgy and a little more
editorial. I'm going to apply a drop shadow. I'm going
to be using the 3D always sharp in Sparks. I love a drop shadow on a hooded eye because
it really plays up how naturally sultry these eyes are and it really gives you that sexy
look so many people want. So, If you found this video, hopefully by
now you should know what your eye shape is and why it's so important to apply makeup
based on your shape. But if you haven't be sure to check out our
