FALCONI Consultants for Results, leader consulting company in Brazil,
held in São Paulo the MOVIMENTO FALCONI 2013, on the topic
"closer and closer for the big dream."
The purpose is to promote a wide discussion on the importance of
management in order to obtain results in companies and in the public area.
Consultants, partners and FALCONI clients were took part in the event,
as well as management experts and some of the main Brazilian business people.
Bernardo Hees, global Heinz CEO, talked to professor Vicente Falconi,
founder of the consulting company, and shared his professional and management experiences
in the companies where he worked, such as ALL, Burger King and Heinz.
The CEO highlighted the profile of the talents required to achieve companies success.
"There are two types of people: those who deliver results,
and those who explain why they are not delivering results. And be careful with those who explain,
as they are good, use Power Point, statistic models, this team is good.
These guys are usually well informed!"
"If you can simplify, and see things happening,
you will see that formatting is not a pre-requirement, but it doen't replace will."
Jorge Gerdau, chair of Gerdau Group Board of Directors,
Fabio Barbosa, President of Abril Group, and Aod Cunha, director of JP Morgan
discussed about how management, specially in the public sector, can contribute to improve the country.
The Movimento FALCONI 2013 also counted with the presence of speaker André Esteves, BTG Pactual CEO,
who highlighted the importance of identifying opportunities, even during crisis,
and knowing how to use languages to make dreams come true.
"Knowing how to recognize your mistakes as soon as possible is a great competitive advantage.
Again, so simple, so easy, so obvious, but quite difficult to be put into practice.
And the best way to put that into practice is to obssessively keep an environment of intelectual honesty
within the companies."
The annual FALCONI meeting was closed out with a talk show with Mateus Bandeira,
FALCONI CEO, and Jorge Paulo Lemann, incoporator of 3G capital,
who shared with the audience his career, his professional and life values.
"We have to believe that we always have to be reasonable and fair
and that you always have to be working hard."
