Hi, so you've been doing your hair, you're trying to find a new hairstyle but your not
sure what you want to do, I have a perfect look for you. A French braid is the easiest
thing in the world to create. So my name is Sylvia Russell and I'm going to show you how
you can create a French braid. Now remember, go ahead and comb your hair out making sure
that you get as many of the tangles out as you can. Make sure that it's nice and smooth.
A French braid normally is going from the top of the head all the way down the back.
So this is something that is swept away from the face. So you don't have to worry about
leaving any hair out. If you want to, it's something that you can do. Now a French braid
consists of three strands of hair. Making sure that you start at the top, you're going
to take one strand and two strands and a third strand like so. So there you have it. That's
the easy part is making sure that you have three strands. Make sure that they're also
pretty even in density. Now watch closely because a French braid stays close to the
head. So you're going to pick up some hair like so, pick up some hair, make sure that
you de-tangle, and cross over top like so. Pick up some hair, de-tangle, make sure you
get the tangles out, cross over like so and de-tangle. This is your middle piece so you're
going to always have a piece in the middle. This is very easy to do guys. You can practice
and practice and soon you'll be able to do your own French twist. So remember, if you're
looking for a new hairstyle and a French twist is what you want to do, this is very simple.
So just remember to cross over top like so. And if you can see, the French braid is starting
to form. Now remember, always take three strands of hair and cross over like so. Make sure
you bring all this hair back from the side and cross it over because we want to get all
that hair off the face. Bring this piece back and cross over. And then we are beginning
to do a French braid. Now I've showed you the basics and I know that if you practice,
that you'll be able to do the best braid that you can do. My name is Sylvia Russell and
this is how you can create a French braid.
