i think when patients think about privacy and confidentiality they also
need to think about the poor sole the doctor that's expected to provide the
best care with no information
i sometimes work at the out of our service
when i'm there sometimes i'll see patients who've come along with fairly
serious problems and i have absolutely no idea
what's been going on with that patient and yet that patient is putting their
lives in my hands and saying doctor
you need to get me right
it beggars belief that in the year two thousand and seven i still have no
information about that patient
especially when there is actually information available on their gps I.T
systems
