The train tracks at Trainland International in Orlando, Florida cover wilderness, mountainous,
rural and urban scenes, all within four thousand square feet of space. The longest run at nine-hundred
and sixty feet enters an exit several of the tracks thirty-two tunnel portals. As with
prototype operations, the museum's layout also has many obstacles that need to be bridged.
The layout contains twenty-four bridges and trussles, covering some fifteen feet. Most
of the bridges and trussles have been built from scratch. Garden City is the city center
on the layout, logging, coal mining, manufacturing, and railroading are the leading industries
that support the city. Its surrounding communities are neatly tucked within three mountain ridges.
Mountain scenery contains over twelve thousand gallons of water per hour cascade down three
waterfalls. Two of the falls feed an approximate three-hundred square foot lake, while the
smaller of the falls feeds a major winding river. Birthday party packages are available
as well as special group rates.
