Technology has played a very important role in my business over the years. Actually starting
with the little known fact that it helped bring Corcoran out to the Hampton, and probably
they're not even aware of it. I was an owner of Cook [inaudible] Farm in the early 2001-2002,
and technology was just beginning to make its way into the real estate business. I went
and visited the Corcoran offices and I saw they were tremendously ahead of us technology
wise, and I saw that they had a staff. I had one person that I could afford to do it, and
they had a staff doing it. So I realized the way to go for the future was really to tie
in with a company like that, and we ended up selling to Corcoran, and it's been a wonderful
thing. But, in addition to that Corcoran provides the technologies so that I can work anywhere
I want, I love getting up in the morning and making a deal in my pajamas. I'm a bit of
a deal junkie and getting a cup of coffee and making a deal over the phone it's terrific,
it's really the best. It allows me to work where I want, it also allows me to provide
much more information about a project than I ever could. I could research where the house
is, what all the houses around have sold for, what in the area, the trends that are going
through whether in that location or a bigger location. So it's really I find a much...gives
me much broader access to much more information to help my customers and clients.
