There’s a major disaster unfolding in Japan on a monumental scale.
first of all the land is being contaminated by radioactive fallout
I’ve seen it explained on TV how these are particles
They are particles that get into the atmosphere and they will settle on the ground.
Cows can eat the grass, the grass the grass is infected with these particles
Therefore the cows become infected. Their milk becomes infected it goes through the food chain.
It happens to be everything. That’s why their advising people to stay indoors. But there is a
bright spot on the horizon, because alot of the radiation right now, with the winds is being
taken out to sea.
Out into the pacific ocean because I guess there's nothing to contaminate in the ocean
It’s just a big flat watery please waste land. Perhaps it will be when the radiation is done with it.
Because just as on radiation - these particles will settle. They will be ingested by smaller
creatures which are in the food chain of bigger creatures
There are seals, whales killer whales, salmon millions of salmon circle around the north pacific
All of these things will have to be checked for years in years to come
if they survived the radioactive fallout.
And as human kind, I’m starting to have less and less faith it will be able to survive.
I heard on the news that 20% of Americas’ electricity is generated by nuclear reactors
and that there's nothing that can take the place of all the electricity that’s being generated.
So you’re stuck with your nuclear reactors - nuclear energy
Having flown often over North America at night time,
I can tell you that there are a lot of lights burning that shouldn't be
And I really do believe I would like to give mankind enough credit that if we put our minds to it,
we could have reduce energy consumption easily by 20% and probably even a heck of a lot more
All that would take his effort but you know what
The utility companies do not want that. They don't want to just like the gas and oil companies
do not want you to use more efficient transportation because it all cuts kicks the bottom line
of greed and money.
I hope we save the planet. I hope we save the oceans.
And let's do it one thing at a time. At least that's how I see it.
