Hey Lucky, you okay?
You look like you need some help.
Has anyone in your family been to college before?
Have you seen an adviser? This looks like a pretty tough workload.
Did you know there's a program on campus called TRIO? It's specifically for first-generation
college students like you. Come on, I'll show you.
Like I said, TRIO is for first-generation students like you, as well as students who are
minorities, have a documented disability, or are considered economically disadvantaged.
The staff understands that college can be an overwhelming experience for new students,
and they have lots of resources to help.
TRIO also helps you to secure internships and apply for grad school, or get
involved in the McNair Achievement Program, a program for sophomores, juniors, and
seniors interested in getting their doctorate.
Feeling a little more confident now, Lucky?
