It seems that some folks in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador are getting a little
too nosy. I mean when our own Premier Danny Williams leaves the province for heart surgery,
that can't be performed here, some people don't seem to care about his health, they
seem to care about themselves and the controversy surrounding his decision to leave the Province.
Who cares what Americans think. It is none of their business either. He wasn't shunning
the Province's health care system. It is a personal choice, a choice we all have as free
citizens. Come on people, he works day and night, standing up for us, trying to improve
our economy and our standard of living while asking for nothing in return. He hasn't asked
for help to go the hospital in Florida. If it was someone else there would be fund raising
and donations. Actually the only thing he asks of us is support and loyalty. Is that
too much to ask? He gives all his salary to The Williams Family Foundation, that assists
children with medical problems go to other Countries and Provinces to get help. Cod Liver
Oil can't fix everything b'y! Well my thoughts are that Danny Williams is the hardest working
person in the province, working day and night for Newfoundlanders. Come on people this is
a man of power and of pride, he doesn't deserve this added stress. So LAY OFF, the man needs
rest to recover, and don't worry when Danny gets back he'll be back to himself. Like the
song says “He'll Rant and He'll Roar like a true Newfoundlander”.
