Hi, this is Shiloe with Style United and I'm going to show you
how to do makeup with a new hair color.
For warm, medium to light hair types, what I would suggest
is playing up the eyes.
You could do this by just making everything look brighter.
CoverGirl's Exact Eyelights Eye-Brightening Shadow,
these are expertly matched by makeup artists to enhance
the natural colors of your eyes.
What I would also suggest is you can keep with a nude lip,
such as CoverGirl Wetslicks.
Cool, brunette hair types can usually handle brighter shades
such as the Tropical Fusion Palette.
You don't have to use all the colors in the palette,
you can just play up with just either the lighter shades
for a day look, or the darker shades for a night look
or a combination and just make them more intense
throughout the day.
You can also finish off the look with the Liquid Lineblast
or a bright eyeliner.
I would suggest using CoverGirl's Lashblast Fusion
for a more dramatic look as well.
Typically, with a cool hair tone,
a rosy lip hue goes great with your color.
You just do want to be careful that your eyes or your lips
are the focus point of your face.
It's one or the other.
You don't want either to have a bright eye and a bright lip.
With platinum blonde hair or hair that is
heavily highlighted, I would suggest
keeping a shimmery tone to enhance your complexion.
This is the CoverGirl Smoky Shadowblast in Bronze Fire.
It would go great with a blonde complexion.
For blonde hair and a lighter complexion, what I would suggest
is using a bronzer.
I would recommend CoverGirl's Cheekers Bronzer.
Just apply it along your cheekbone as well as along
the jawline, blending slightly upward towards the hairline.
You just want a natural flush of color.
You don't want to overdo it.
To finish off the look, what I would suggest is
blondes look great in any sort of red color.
You can use CoverGirl's Natureluxe Gloss Balm
and this is in Anemone.
For those with red toned hair, what I would suggest is sticking
with an earthy or natural toned eyeshadow in order to enhance
your hair color, such as the CoverGirl's 4-Kit Eye Enhancers
in Country Woods.
To finish the look, what you would just do is you would start
with the lighter color in the cream and you could either use
the two medium tones for your lid and then in the darker shade
you would put along your crease and the outer V line
and just make sure that you blend thoroughly.
To finish off your eye, what I would suggest is
CoverGirl's Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in Chestnut.
You would just put it up against the lashline from the inner
pupil to the outer corner of the eye, bring it up and around
to the same area, but just on the top lashline.
If you want to smudge out any hard lines,
it does come with a smudger tip.
You can just gently blend away any harsh lines to give a more
smoked out effect if you'd like.
To finish off your face look, what I would suggest is
sticking with a matte blush such as CoverGirl's
Classic Color in Rose Silk.
You just want, again, a natural flush of color to go with
your lighter skin and also to accentuate your red hair.
The last tip that I would like to share with you, that
if possible, take a picture of yourself without makeup on
before you change your hair color
and after you change your hair color.
That way it's easier to see the overall change of tone in your
face and you can pick shades and colors from there.
If you have any questions about the tips given, please feel free
to contact a Style United beauty counselor for your specific
product recommendations based on your hair type.
Thank you and good luck.
