My name is Barbara Esses and I do events for a living. I'm Ruthie Hecht; I'm an event planner
and I work with and for my mother. We're going to teach you the do's and don'ts for the perfect
wedding.
Barbara Esses: Recently for wedding photography people have opted not to do the traditional
posed photos of their families and they opt to do something a little bit more casual.
One has the choice of doing posed, one has the choice of doing a more natural look. When
a chose a photographer look at the way they pose their people in their demo albums and
see if that style agrees with you and if it does not agree with you ask them if they have
a different style because you want to do it your way, there is no reason that you cannot.
When you pose people for pictures you need to have an artistic sensibility and so I would
leave that to the photographer rather than the bride and the groom making that choice
although the genre of the way you do it should be the bride and grooms choice and if you
have the possibility of doing it outside there is nothing more beautiful than taking all
the photographs outside.
