Hi Faculty at College of the Desert, this is Donna.
Thanks for letting me participate in your workshop remotely! What you see on the supplemental
website is information to help you get started using YouTube as your video recorder, editor
and delivery platform.
You, or your students, can record clips right though your web browser, edit them together,
and even include clips from other YouTube users who have made their content available
to you.
Or, what about curating your own YouTube Playlist - where you simply gather a series of videos
that you want your students to watch.
And then, one of the nicest features of YouTube, you can easily add captions to your videos
without the worry of trying to time them out exactly to your speaking -- it's sorta magical,
but YouTube will time them for you.
So please use the resources I have provided on the supplemental website and start making
some video for you class. Or even better, get your students making videos for you!
Have a great semester.
