Hey, what's up? This is Claire. And I'm doing makeovers in a car, and I want
you to be part of it. Claire?
Lauren? Yeah!
Oh, finally. You ready for your makeover? I am so ready.
And you're the husband, right? Yes, yes I am.
Alright, we don't need you. She's in good hands.
Okay. I trust you. I love you, baby.
Love you. See you later tonight! Lauren, welcome to the Haute seat.
I'm so excited to be here. So tell me, what's the event you're going
to tonight? My husband and I, it's our wedding anniversary.
And we're going to go out. We just recently had a baby so we don't get
out often. And I want like a natural, fresh kind of a
new look. Working with what you already have, natural
beauty, we're going to go ahead and do a little bit of a beachy bronzed look.
So I'm going to maximize the products that we have, and really work on the dual purpose
idea. As a new mom, I know you don't have a lot
of time. No, no time.
So we're going to keep the products to minimum. I think one of the products that you're really
going to like is this shimmer brick. And the great thing about this is that it's
really multi-purpose. So you can use it not only as a highlight
on the cheeks but all these different strips are great for different eye shadow looks.
So you have like different eye shadows all in one.
The next product that I think you're really going to enjoy is this Pot Rouge product.
And this is cream product that you can use not only as a cheek product but also on the
lips, so it's really great on-the-go moisturizing lip product.
So now that we've already prepped and moisturized the skin, we're going to go ahead and start
with the foundation. I absolutely love this foundation because
of how lightweight on the skin it is. And it just doesn't look like you have anything
on. It's just going to even out your skin tone
but not cover your amazing freckles. Thanks. I have a hard time finding foundation
with freckles. I don't want to look cake-y and fake and gross.
I think it looks more unnatural if you try and conceal them.
The great thing about this is you don't need a lot of brushes.
I'm going to use mostly my fingers. That's great. That's really easy.
Maybe I'll just hang out with you and ditch the husband.
I'm okay with that. So next we're going to use this Tinted Eye
Brightener to go right underneath the eyes. I picked one that is a little more peachy
so it will cancel out some of the darkness right under the eyes.
Yeah, this definitely makes me look like I had five hours of sleep instead of three.
So now, onto the eyes, we're going to use this amazing bronze shimmery color.
The first thing you can do in the morning is pop it on and you don't have to worry about
it for the rest of the day. So I'm just using a brush to apply it to your
lids but again, you can totally use your fingers at home, if you're in a rush.
So we pretty much covered that entire lid with that shadow and took it right into the
crease. Do you want to try it on the other side?
Um...sure. Maybe I can start and you can help me?
Yeah, sure. So you're going to start right on the ball
of your lid, right here, just sweep it across. Oh yeah, go to town, girl.
It's easier to look down on into the mirror because then you can actually see the entire
surface of your lid. Yeah, it's really pretty. It's natural but
it's also kind of elegant and different, you know?
And I'm just going to add a little more definition. So now that we have a nice wash of shimmer
all over the lid, I'm going to go in with this matte brown shade, and this way it's
going to create a little bit more depth. I'm going to take this color right, starting
from the outer corner and working in. Starting from the outer corner and working
your way in. So you're just creating like a moon shape.
Like this? So next I'm going apply some mascara.
I don't think you need to put any liner but if you wanted to, you could.
But as a woman on the go, I don't think it's necessary.
So if you ever get mascara onto your skin while you're doing your makeup, let it dry.
That way you can go in with a q-tip later, and just twist it off, and it will just twist
right off. Okay, so now onto our two multipurpose products.
I like to apply highlighter first because I like that lit from within kind of look.
I'm just going to take a little swirl and I'm going to start from the highest point
on the cheeks and just blend it down. Kind of where the sun would naturally hit
your cheeks and you would just want that glow to bounce off.
Sunkissed. Yes. Totally.
Okay, so now just to add some quick definition to the face, we're gonna add a little bit
of bronzer. And again, just blend in.
So, one tool is all you need. So now we're going to take this cheek stain
and use it both on your cheeks and on your lips.
A lot of people apply product directly to the apple but I think it's a little bit easier
and more foolproof if you start just above so you don't get that really rosy cheek right
direct in the middle of your face. So I'm going to start just above and kind
of work my way backwards and forwards. Lastly, just a little bit extra on the lips.
And you just start in the center and work your way out.
Okay, are you ready? Yeah!
Take a look. Wow! This is, this is exactly what I wanted.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it.
You think you could recreate it yourself. Yeah, totally. It was really easy. Straight-forward.
And I think my husband's gonna like it. I'm excited.
He should be excited actually. Oh yeah. He's a lucky dude.
Alright, let's get her to her date. Bye!
Have a great night! Another mission complete, guys.
Lauren looks amazing and she's really rocking that bronzed beach babe look.
I think she's going to have a really great night with her husband.
