get gotta be a different way. There got to be different another way that there are honest
people, good people out there like you and myself that want want to sell and promote
the product honestly.

Reading his material and listening to his material it changed my perception completely
about sales and marketing.

But here, hear it first from the founder himself mister Michael Oliver
Neary: Michael, why did you start Natural Selling?
Well, I started Natural Selling without knowing it. Many years ago, the early eighties when
I started professionally selling. What I was looking at, or looking for was a solution
to what I saw was a very aggressive way of selling.
Convention selling to me is a very very aggressive way. What I mean by conventional
selling is the standard way of making a presentation as soon as you can or telling
your story as soon as you can hoping something will click there.
And then closing soon, closing often. That's a very convention way of looking at it which
putting pressure on the other person, putting external pressure on the other
Person. And then when they reply with any questions or
any comments or concerns, treating their comments and concerns as objections to be overcome.
I couldn't understand this because it required a great deal aggressive
behavior on the sales person to get the sale. I always felt there had to be another way,
I always felt that there was something that
could be done about it.
That was my, my journey my mission for many years until I rediscovered how from my point
of view. Then I started training in it and discovered that it resonates with, you know,
what 's the history nowadays hundreds of thousands, people who use it. So it was really a journey
of discovery which I ended up training in and creating this program called Natural Selling.
Neary: So Michael on for those of us who want to know and learn more about Natural Selling,
how, how difficult is it to study and learn Natural Selling?
Michael: Well, as difficult as you want to make it or as easy as you want to make it.
I think really depends like everything else in life on your desires to do so. From the
point of view that if you're looking at being able to sell more effectively because maybe
your own selling is working for your you or you want to sell but you are afraid of selling.
You don't like the techniques in the conventional ways, then your learn it. It doesn't take
too much to learn the key is to learn the philosophy behind it first.
Natural Selling is not necessary just a mechanical way of learning. For example, different types
of questions to ask them, why you're asking them is actually understanding, understanding
so the rationale behind it.
Understand the philosophy behind it so the holistic value of it. And then understanding
that's, that's how you're connecting with people. So it all starts in up here, in the
mind first. Everything is about how to think and or rethink what you're thinking. And then
the mechanics of it comes really easy.
So you could do in a very short amount of time. I know some people it picks up this
within a few days.
But the key thing is just to start. You just have to start. The moment you start asking
one or two questions, you'll see that people respond to you in a very very different way
than they have before.
So here's a clue. If you can stop presenting and start Asking, what you notice is that
people will, as I said, respond an entirely different way than they probably would have
before.
Neary: Michael, in closing, what word of wisdom would you like to leave with some of the audience
that who's gonna be following you?
One word fo wisdom. Well, I would say that to remember that people have all the answers.
All the answers to what they want and why they want it. So start learning how to ask
as opposed to presenting. In other words stop presenting. Learn how
to ask.
Neary: Michael, for those of us would like to find out more information about Natural
