We're here at Artisan Stained Glass. We've been going through a lot of their different
selection that they have on hand of their art glass. And I wanted to share with you
the crackle glass today. I have with me right now for you to see a golden crackle. It's
actually a pale amber. And you can see there's some really nice channels going through on
the other side. Again, as with all your textured glass, you always want to be using your glass
cutter to score on the very smooth surface. At least the smoothest side there is. Some
glasses have texture on both sides. But you'd want to use the smooth side. And this is the
textured side. So just to give you a good view of that. If you can see the light shining
off of those textures. And this is a clear crackle, so you can kind of get an idea. And
if you notice, there's a little bit of a difference in that pattern. This one's got more round
and this one's more streamy. So just go through the bin, find out what you would like best
for your project, and just go from there. And have a lot of fun making your stained
or leaded glass.
