>>As a student, you should be aware of fee payment and financial aid issues.
Fees can be paid online through your eServices account.
You can also pay for your fees in person at your college business office.
Payment is due at the time you enroll. You will be dropped from your classes if you do
not pay your fees.
If you are on a waitlist for a class, you do not owe fees. Fees are due when you move
off of the waitlist and officially enroll in the class.
The fees are set by the state, and may change without notice.
You may qualify for Federal Financial Aid to help you pay for your education. You will
need to complete a FAFSA to find out if you qualify.
Your college Financial Aid Office can assist you with applying for financial aid. You can
go there for assistance with the financial aid process.
Your fees are not automatically paid if you receive Federal Financial Aid. You must pay
all fees yourself, and can use any money you receive for financial aid.
You may also qualify for a state BOG Fee Waiver based on your income or if you are currently
receiving TANF, CalWORKSs, General Assistance, or SSI.
Your enrollment fees may be waived if you qualify for the state BOG fee waiver.
However, you will still have to pay other fees, such as the UTP and SRF fees.
If you are an undocumented student, fill out a California Dream Act Application to see
if you may qualify for California state aid. The Dream Act Application follows the same
logic as the FAFSA but was developed for undocumented AB540 students and applies to state aid only.
If you are a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen you must complete the FAFSA and not the Dream
Application.
