Now I'm going to get out babies from my nursery and put them into other jars and just keep
feeding them and this is my continuous brew as I mention in my sun tea jar and I'm going
to use that as my starter for there babies so here we go. Now we did talk about how plastic
is not enviable container but because this is merely the convance to get it from here
to the house we're going to be okay with that so these are all stuck together. They ripe
apart very easily I like to put a couple of babies in there we'll get them some starter
liquid and what do they do with them when they get these home once they get these home
they make their Kombucha you can keep these in the fridge for a week or two, your definitely
going to want to move it from the plastic back into glass as soon as possible that's
a glass bowl or whatever. And then as soon as you have your brewing vessel you'll be
ready to go, but leaving in the fridge for an extending period of time it will go dormant
so you definitely want to get that in the brewing vessel as soon as possible. I just
like to put it in a extra bag because sometimes they leak if it goes dormant. How do you make
it active again? Well you just start the brewing process and that will it may not be so fizzy
to begin with and then it will gradually become more and more balance. And you had another
question oh just about where do you store it I store mine in peon green boxes so cause
we drink the water so the any kind of card board box and it's got a lid on it and they
way it's dark and safe and once it's in a brewing vessel your not going to want to move
it a lot because every time you move it the baby has it detaches and has to reform and
so you won't come out with a really nice even baby. So it's good to put in a place where
you now it's not going to be touched a lot. Your going to also be aware if it's near any
plants because the pollen and spores that could create mold in Kombucha and once you
have mold in your Kombucha you have to throw it away. There's no way to salvage anything
your just going to have to start over, and if your interested in procuring a starter,
a baby, a culture you can go to my website which is Kombuchakampspot.blog.com that's
Kombuchakamp.blogspot.com and I can ship this to you, there will be directions there's also
all kinds of information there. I also provide emails support so your not alone in your brewing
process.
