Like many arts service organizations, StageSource has been exploring ways of
using new media and creating new models for conversation by creating online
content, some highly produced like the following
[frustrated]
"Hey frustrated artistic director of a mid sized theater company, what's wrong?"
Most of our videos have been quickly produced and edited designed to highlight a program, support the community at large, or prompt action
New technology removes the barriers for pushing content to the theater community
including organizations, individual theater makers, and audiences. StagesSource can
play a role in facilitating conversations and creating content to
support the entire community regardless of size or location
StageSource
is kind of the Google
of Boston theater It's like the place you call when you need anything
Not only
are they very web 2 point 0
and very much in the cyber world
but they're also very much high touch [DE] For Theater on Fire I'm very much a one man show
and if I didn't have StageSource putting it all in one place, I'd never get it done
I'm speaking for actors
when I say
that it is really important organization
and a really fun thing to be part of.
Thanks StageSource!
With close to two hundred organizations
and nineteen hundred individuals as members StageSource has many voices to add
to a larger conversation about theater.
We want to build the stage so that theater makers can speak to the world.
