\f0\fs24 \cf0 This book is the diary of Anne Frank, a dutch girl who hid from the germans
for two years. Along with her parents.\ \
That was because she was jewish, and the Nazis were hunting her and her people.\
\ As a diary, the book didn't have a lot of
action. In fact, she felt a lot of boredom. But behind the boredom was fear. That fear
is what made the book so powerful. Since it was published in 1967, it sold more than 50
million copies in 30 languages.\ \
Seeing her just hiding, and waiting to be found, it made think that if this happened
to me, I would rather stand and fight than hide.\
\ The author, is obviously Anne Frank, herself.
But it ends in the middle because she was captured by the Nazis. What the diary doesn't
tell you, is that she died in a camp.\ \
One interesting part of this book is that it taught me a dark side of ww2. It made me
think about the war itself, which in America, is often thought as a just war.\
\ The diary was published by her father 22 years
after she died. My version was published in 1993.\
\ And by the way, the dewey decimal number of
this book was 940.53 This is the number for books on WW2.\
\ I would recommend this book to people who
have an interest in war, 2S people who don't mind reading a book with almost no action,
3S and people who enjoy learning history.\ }
