working on a sea shell you might find it helpful to create some guidelines
if your a beginner and here I'm just
working on the bottom I'm got like two diamond shapes here
and then
here a sort of tear shape and
I'm gonna flood those immediately and heal those up
so that we have a nice smooth surface this is a
seashell and therefore it has a
very very smooth finish
you can shake the icing alright we're
creating areas so that when we
flood the one next to it it creates a bump here
the center of the shell putting all the way down
and now here I'm gonna skip
and there and now I wanna take my cookie and I'm gonna shake it
before these areas have time to crust
make sure that they heal well
there we go
now we've waited for our first
sections to crust so now we can come in
and add in the center ones its even easier so your just flooding until squeezing icing
until it touches both sides
just like that
and work your way around
some brown in my air brush gun and we're going to be
replicating that over there on this cookie and they're just
arches I'm doing around here the outer
edge of the shell
just a slight amount and then I'm coming in
and again
like that and if you want you can come in a little bit at the bottom
and if it's not dark enough you can
give it a second pass
just follow your lines
great thing about an airbrush
is you do not have to wait to come in and do these little accents you can
paint
the wet icing and there are my shell cookies
I'm gonna start by flooding
I've got my starfish cookies here and I'm using
copper airbrush color okay
now I'm just dusting the edges
in my copper
color
and then draw a line in the middle
just like that
and there we go here is my cookie
I don't know if you can see here it got dented because of the pressure the
air on the surface gonna try to save this cookie
start by drawing the star on the middle
