Hi! I'm Joshua Lindsey with CFM Building Science Solutions. On behalf of Expert Village, we
are going to do a quality assurance walk through this house. What we are going to look at on
this house, a lot of the outside, there's not a whole lot to the outside of stuff that
we want to look at. The main thing that you are going to want to look at is your electrical
stuff. You want to make sure that all of your electrical stuff work. You don't want to be
buying a house where you've got to go through and put all new light bulbs in and stuff like
that. You want to make sure that all of this stuff works. You've also got different areas
like right in here where we can go through and touch up the paint. There is a lot of
little details that we can worry about. Don't be afraid to ask your builder about things
like this. I mean your paint, unpainted marks that are around your electrical stuff. Don't
be afraid to ask your builder about this like this. Also if you move over in this direction,
we notice that the garage door was painted and then they put the motorized mechanism
on the inside to bring the garage door down. What it did is it ended up leaving us with
a mark on the top of the garage door that is unpainted. It is something that you will
want to check into. If your door doesn't have a motor on it, walk in on the inside and step
on that door to push it down all the way and have someone look at it on the outside. See
if there is stuff not painted. Little things like this you are thinking, why would that
matter so much. You get into the house and you get annoyed because you've got all these
tiny projects that you've got to do now because you didn't catch them before you moved in.
