This video will show you how to import your photos from your Sony camcorder to
a Mac computer using Apple's iPhoto software
By the way, at the end of this video, you'll be given some information on how

Before we get started, you'll need a Macintosh computer with iPhoto
installed
your Sony camcorder and supplied USB cable
Each camcorder is slightly different, so be sure to check the owner's manual or
visit us at esupport.sony.com for your specific features and menu
options
First make sure the computers powered on
Connect the camcorder directly to the USB port on your computer
Turn on the camcorder
Select USB connect
The LCD will display USB mass storage
The iPhoto software should automatically open
If not, the iPhoto software can be open from the dock
or you can use the Finder Bar
In the iPhoto window, all of your new photos will be displayed
You can import all, our choose individual pictures to import
Once you've selected all the photos or individual photos, select the appropriate
import button
A window will pop up asking to delete photos from your camcorder, or keep
photos
If you select delete photos, all the photos you just imported will be
deleted from your camcorder
you cannot recover these once you have deleted them
If you want to keep the photos that you just imported on the camcorder, select
keep photos
After selecting your choice, your imported photos will now be displayed in
the window
